Prof. Dr. Hasan ŞEKER
Hasan Şeker is Professor in the Faculty of Education at Muğla Sıtkı Kocman University. He holds the degrees of BEd, Master of Arts (MA), and PhD in Curriculum studies. He has diverse research interests: Curriculum studies, teacher education, assessment and evaluation of teaching and learning process. Dr. Şeker teaches a number of curriculum studies and teacher education courses including curriculum studies and teaching and learning processes at the Faculty of Education, Muğla University, Turkey. Prof. Dr. Fatma HAZIR BIKMAZ
Prof.Dr. Fatma BIKMAZ, dean of the Ankara University Faculty of the Educational Sciences and Professor of Education, is also the Head of the Department of Educational Sciences.
Dr. Bıkmaz earned her PhD degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Ankara University Faculty of Educational Sciences after obtaining an undergraduate and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the same university’s Graduate School of Social Sciences. During her PhD education, Dr. Bıkmaz was awarded the Turkish Academy of Sciences’ Integrated PhD Scholarship to lead research at Arizona State University in the U.S. Dr. Bıkmaz was also granted the Singapore Cooperation Programme Training Award on teacher education in 2007, which was organized in cooperation with Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Institute of Education (NIE).
Dr. Bıkmaz joined the faculty as a research assistant at Ankara University Faculty of Educational Sciences, where she also worked as an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Full Professor. In the framework of Higher Education Council of Turkey’s Scholarship Program, Dr. Bıkmaz also worked at Columbia University Teachers College as an Honorary Postdoctoral Fellow, where she did research on the Models in Teacher Professional Development between 2011 and 2012.
Dr. Bıkmaz who is serving as the Dean of the Ankara University Faculty of Educational Sciences, continues to teach courses at undergraduate and graduate levels. Her primary research interests involve curriculum development, science curriculum, pre-service teacher education, teacher induction, and professional development of teachers. Dr. Bıkmaz is an active member of such professional organizations as the Association for Teacher Education in Europe (ATEE), the International Society for Teacher Education (ISfTE), and the Association of Teacher Educators (ATE).

Prof. Dr. Meral GÜVEN
Prof. Dr. Meral Güven got her B.S. degree from Anadolu University Faculty of Educational Sciences Instruction department in 1995, and she started work as a research assistant at Anadolu University in the same year. In 1998, she completed her M.S. degree in the field of Curriculum and Instruction in Social Sciences Institute, and she received her Ph.D. from department of Curriculum and Instruction at Anadolu University Educational Sciences Institute. Güven became Asst. Prof. Dr. in 2004, Assoc. Prof. Dr. in 2011, and Prof. Dr. in 2016, and she still continues his academician role at Anadolu University Faculty of Education, Educational Sciences department. Prof. Dr. Güven has various articles, abstracts and book studies in topics of teacher education, program development, program evaluation, learning to learn, learning styles, learning strategies and critical thinking.

Prof. Dr. Hülya GÜVENÇ
Prof.Dr. Hulya Guvenc completed his B.Sc. degree in Primary School Education at Ataturk University. She completed his M.Sc. in 1999 at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Universty, and Ph.D. in 2004 in Curriculum Development and Instruction field at the University of Dokuz Eylul University. She began his professional life as a primary school teacher. Between 1994-1999 worked as a teacher in Kastamonu and Çanakkale. Between 1999 and 2005, she worked as a research assistant at Trakya and Dokuz Eylül Universities. Between 2015 and 2013, she served as assistant professor at Trakya and Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Universities. She became associate professor in 2012. Güvenç worked at Yeditepe University between the years 2003-2018. Dr Güvenç, became full professor at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University in 2018, still continues to work at this institution. Her research interests are in pre and in-service teacher education, active learning, self-regulated learning, teachers’ motivational support and financial literacy. Besides publishing numerous articles in national and international journals, Dr. Guvenc conducted many workshops, seminars, and in-service training programs for different institutions, organizations, and public and private schools in order to help educators’ professional development.
